Self-laminating labels are widely used in industrial labeling. With this type of cable labeling, the label has a piece of laminate in addition to the writable surface. When fitting these cable labels, the laminate is wrapped over the labeled label. This protects the label from dirt, dust and liquids such as water and cleaning agents. Self-laminating labels are easy to handle and are used for permanent cable marking. They are already equipped with a permanent acrylic adhesive and therefore belong to the self-adhesive cable labeling type.

While you will definitely achieve the highest quality and most robust print with the thermal transfer printer, printing with (conventional) laser printers is more cost-effective and is particularly suitable for small needs or low requirements. The material of the self-laminating labels should be selected based on your individual product requirements.

Self Laminating Cable Markers
Our self-laminating cable markers are made of vinyl and are therefore particularly flexible and adhere particularly well to smooth cable and wire surfaces. These vinyl labels are also UV-resistant and can be flexibly labeled using a suitable thermal transfer printing system. The standard range includes self-laminating cable markers in the color white-transparent and for cable diameters between 5 and 37 mm. We can also offer you other colors and sizes on request. Cable labels with protective laminate
The cable labels with protective laminate are made from high-quality polyolefin film and are among the most robust of their kind. Thanks to the protective laminate, these labels are optimally protected against mechanical abrasion, as well as dirt or contamination from environmental influences and other agents, such as solvents and chemicals. These labels are supplied on a roll and are available in the standard range in the color white transparent and in sizes for cable diameters between 2 and 37 mm. A thermal transfer printer should be used to mark the cable labels with protective laminate. Depending on the size, the markers are also suitable for wire or cable marking.
Cable marker self-adhesive
Our self-adhesive cable markers are also self-laminating labels and, as the name suggests, are already provided with adhesive. These markers are made of polyester and can be easily labeled with laser printers. They are supplied on sheets and can therefore be labeled using conventional office printers (laser). They are particularly suitable for small requirements and should only be used indoors. Nevertheless, the cable markers are robust and the laminate film offers protection against abrasion of the polyester label and against moisture. Our standard range includes this article in the color white transparent and for cable diameters between 1.9 - 23.9 mm.

Printing self-laminating labels
Most products in the field of self-laminating labels can be printed using a thermal transfer printing system. The thermal transfer process offers many advantages when it comes to permanently legible labeling in industry. Such a system usually consists of a printer, the appropriate ribbon, the software and the material to be printed (in this case the self-laminating markers).
You can use the software on your computer to create individual print templates simply by drag-and-drop and then print the desired number of labels. Our customers particularly appreciate the high degree of flexibility offered by this printing process. If the printing system is optimally matched to the material to be printed (e.g. vinyl, polyester or polyolefin), an extremely robust and high-quality print result is achieved.
