In photovoltaic systems and solar farms, numerous string cables connect the individual module strings to inverters or generator junction boxes. To ensure that each PV string cable can be clearly identified during installation, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting, permanent, legible cable marking is particularly important.

When it comes to labeling DC string cables, I’m happy to recommend our new cable markers—which don’t require cable ties—to my customers. These markers are optimized for 6mm² solar cables and require no mounting hardware whatsoever. Say goodbye to cable ties, adhesive, and the like!

With the new cable markers without cable ties, you can mark string cables permanently and legibly in no time at all. Our new product innovation has the same features as the tried-and-tested AIO cable markers, but does not require any accessories (such as cable ties) for installation. Our AIO cable labels have proven very suitable for use on PV systems. They can withstand temperatures from -25 to +80°C without any problems and are halogen-free, abrasion-resistant and UV-resistant. In addition, they can be printed quickly and easily and attached to the corresponding solar cables, AC cables and earthing cables both during installation and afterwards.

Particularly suitable for PV systems is the size 60x12mm (heightxwidth) in the colour yellow.

These are available in different colors and sizes and are ideally suited for permanent outdoor use thanks to their high resistance to UV rays, humidity, rain and high temperatures. Especially in the industry for the planning of large-scale photovoltaic projects, such as solar parks or photovoltaic systems for industrial buildings, the shrink sleeves can be flexibly printed directly on site and easily attached to the DC cable during installation. Shrinking allows the heat-shrink tubing to adapt flexibly to different cable diameters.
