At Texit, we specialize in industrial identification, which also includes nameplates. You can have individual nameplates produced by us: We attach great importance to the quality and durability of the manufacturer's nameplate. We manufacture your nameplates precisely according to the desired specifications. You also have the option of labeling your nameplates yourself using a printing system. Whether for the identification of machines, systems, products or tools: our nameplates are made of thick material, are UV-resistant and extremely robust.
Type plates metal vs. plastic
Type plates are classically made of metal and are labeled by stamping. The material is usually aluminum (aluminum), stainless steel or brass. These plates are very robust and resistant. However, they are also considerably more expensive to purchase and are not easy to inscribe yourself. The data and design information must first be sent to the nameplate manufacturer by the machine or system manufacturer. There is also less flexibility in terms of the number of pieces or material thickness. These type plates made of aluminum, brass or stainless steel are usually attached to the devices with screws.
Advantages of printing nameplates
The whole thing looks different with type plate labels: These type plates are also very robust and ideally suited for industrial use. This type of label can also be produced flexibly by yourself (you can find more information on this under Printing nameplates) and is also more cost-effective than the metal version. You can design all the data (e.g. CE mark or CE marking, serial numbers and manufacturer details) yourself and then print them directly on site. This significantly reduces production costs. The markings are nevertheless very resistant to (low and low) temperatures, oil, water, chemicals, solvents etc.
Thanks to the high material thickness, they are ideal for machine labeling in harsh environments. We use high-quality plastic (usually polyester) as the material. Although this is somewhat less resistant than common materials such as aluminum, brass and stainless steel, it is cheaper and more flexible in use and is sufficient for most environments (including outdoor areas).
